I'm a solo artist called AKA LEØN
YOU MUST BE BASED IN LONDON
I'm looking for a lead guitarist and bassist to be a part of my band and you would be playing gigs and recording songs I have written. I would like to collaborate and need help to arrange these songs in a band context. You guys would be more than just a backing band! I need reliable and punctual people, and people who have a genuine passion for the music.
This is a non-payed position
We will also be doing rehearsals at Westbourne Rehearsal Studios
Once payed gigs happen in the future, all members will receive a cut.
My music is a mixture of indie rock, psychedelic rock, folk and grunge
or if I named bands I'd say Mac Demarco, King Krule, Tame Impala, Wolf Alice, Kurt Vile, Arctic Monkeys and Connan Mockasin to name a few that I would say are similar to my sound.
For the guitarist Im looking for someone who has extensive knowledge in chord inversions and good knowledge of a variety of chords whilst also providing melodies and adding atmosphere to songs.
Im hoping to have quite a lot of rehearsals so that we could start giging as a band in the summer and record a debut EP.
